Game of Thrones Spirits.

This project is a concept design, prompted by a conversation about what kind of alcoholic spirit each family house in the Game of Thrones televsion series would prefer.

While each house has it own distinctive colours, sigils and mottos, the labelling was built around a common shield form with the same framing detail, reflecting the overarching culture that the families of Westeros share.

The type of spirit reflects the character of each family:

House Targaryen, ("Fire and Blood"), would have a preference for classic dark red wine as the presumtive royal family.
House Stark, ("Winter Is Coming"), would prefer vodka due to the easily available base ingredient and its resistance to freezing.
House Lanister, ("Hear Me Roar") as the wealthiest southern family in Westeros, would relate to a gin with its refined floral flavours.
House Greyjoy, ("We Do Not Sow") has a culture based around naval culture, so their spirit of choice would naturally be navy rum.
